Michael Parker

Founder, Too Many Hats

Michael Parker is the founder of Too Many Hats, a consultancy that builds automation systems for small and medium-sized businesses.

He started his first online business, A Quarter Of, in 2002 with eighty-five pounds of stock. Over twenty years, he grew it to over one million pounds per month in revenue on Amazon, creating six software tools along the way to solve operational problems as they emerged. He sold the business in 2024.

During those two decades, Michael experienced first-hand every challenge that growing businesses face: manual processes that consume entire days, systems that do not talk to each other, and the gradual realisation that the founder has become the bottleneck in their own company. He built the systems to fix each of these problems, teaching himself Python and later applying AI to real business operations.

Too Many Hats exists to give other business owners the same advantage – without the twenty years of trial and error. Michael and his team identify the processes that waste the most time and build automation solutions that run without the owner needing to be involved.

Michael is based in London and Portugal.
